Pinus sylvestris 'Glauca Nana', also known as a Dwarf Blue Scot's Pine, is a compact evergreen conifer with a dense globe form. The needles are beautiful silver-blue to blue-green. As the tree matures the bark will turn an orange-brown, and if pruned will maintain its shape. It was discovered in the mid 1800s as one of the first blue-green, round type conifers.
