Michelia yunnanensis×hybrid 'MICJUR2', also known as the Fairy Magnolia® Cream, are bushy, evergreen shrubs or small trees that produce many flowers. The tree itself is very quick growing and can be trimmed without leaving a large impact on the display. Without pruning it's a single trunk tree with lateral branches forming at acute angles to the trunk. With pruning, plants can be grown as a large shrub. The flowers are largely disease resistant, and are can grow in full sun and part shade. Will handle drier conditions once established. Flowering begins mid Spring. Lasts approximately 8 weeks. Begins flowering after 1.5 to 2 years after planting an unrooted cutting.
