Acer palmatum 'First Ghost' is one of the original and most highly regarded cultivars in the Ghost series of Japanese maples. Its striking spring foliage emerges in bright white to creamy tones, beautifully highlighted by deep green veins toward the center of each leaf and a red-purple margin along the outer edges. This intricate reticulated pattern gives 'First Ghost' an exceptional, almost painted appearance.
