Acer japonicum 'Giant Moon', also known as Acer japonicum 'Giant Moon', is a small, dense, round deciduous tree. The leaves are unusually large and emerge . In the fall the leaves change to beautiful bright yellows with red dappling, while some leaves are red entirely. In springtime the maple produces lovely small, burgundy flowers that contrast nicely against the bright green of the leaves.
