Acer circinatum 'Pacific Fire', also known as a Coral Bark Japanese Maple, is a small deciduous tree or shrub with bright green, rounded leaves. This maple is more desired for its incredible bark. Throughout the spring and summer the bark is a light, yellow-green, but in winter the trunk and branches turn to a bright, beautiful red. The bark contrasts magnificently against the white of the snow in the winter. The leaves in the fall are bright yellows and some are bright crimson.
