Abies nordmaniana ‘Golden Spreader’, also known as a Golden Nordmann Fir, is a dwarf spreading conifer. If planted in the sun the mid-late spring new growth will come out as a rich, bright yellow, but if planted in the shade the needles will emerge as a lime green. In the winter the whole tree will change into the bright yellow of the new growth adding a sunny addition to the winter garden.
