Witches' Broom Selections

A witches' broom is a dense, congested mutation that appears naturally in the canopy of a conifer or maple. Propagated from that growth, it produces a plant far smaller and tighter than its parent — which is where most true dwarf cultivars originate. Buchholz Nursery has built its reputation on finding, grafting and naming these selections on the West Coast in Gaston, Oregon. Rare by definition and produced in small numbers, they ship to collectors in Washington, Oregon, California and nationwide.
